Dare Days – A fun, family event connecting communities.

There are birthdays, holidays, barefoot days, wear your PJs to school days, take your child to work days, and then there are Dare Days!  Dare Days is a Town-Sponsored special event showcasing and celebrating our great community, its diverse culture, and rich history over two days in two different locations to enjoy!

But wait, there was MORE!  Family, friends, smiles, giggles, and wiggles will continue on Sunday, June 4th from 3:00 – 5:00 PM with a gospel concert at the Pea Island Cookhouse on Sir Walter Raleigh Street.  Sip on old-fashioned lemonade and indulge in some sensational local sweets while the Pea Island Preservation Society shares a little history of the area.  Relax and enjoy a wide array of music provided by our local churches and other groups.  It will be quite a delight!

Dare Days 2023 is all about celebrating and connecting communities at the grass roots level in order to share our wonderful and diverse culture and rich history through this very special event .  Dare Days 2023 will be an eventFULL weekend!
