The Tree That's Meant to Be by Yuval Zommer

A StoryWalk is a children's book and a walking trail combined. Children, adults, and families can come walk the short 1/2 mile Inspiration Trail and read a different story every week. The StoryWalk is open for self-guided exploration during park hours.

Inspiration Trail is at the Reedy Creek entrance, at 2100 North Harrison Ave in Cary. Take exit 287 off I-40, enter the park, and stay straight ahead for the parking lot. The northwest corner of the parking lot leads to the Company Mill and Inspiration Trails. Walk past the large picnic shelter and cross the footbridge, then turn to the left for Inspiration Trail.

Arts in the Parks programs are curated and designed to encourage creativity, foster imagination, combine literacy and exercise, and increase the participation of non-traditional park visitors. Created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, Vermont in 2007, StoryWalk is an innovative and delightful way to combine literacy and exercise.
