In 2011 Hoke County Celebrated 100 years with the Hoke 100 Centennial Celebration Carnival. This event was a huge success and residents from all over Hoke County said, "please continue this event for the future as it is a great event for the school and community. In 2012 we had a great festival and BBQ competition. In 2013 we continued this tradition with the Hoke Fest BBQ Festival and Carnival in which over 8,000 people attended the five day festival. 2014 was probably our biggest ever with over 9,500 people coming on the grounds in five days. 2015 Was a Huge Success and weather was beautiful. The Entertainment was of OFF THE CHAIN. In 2016 we added Military Appreciation Night and a opening night ceremony. This year, 2017 we hope to continue to grow and invite more and more folks out for all the rides, games, food, entertainment helicopter rides and good ol NC BBQ !!
