Print Works Bistro, Greensboro, NC

For a very special treat, students can receive a discount (they don’t advertise how much of a discount) at Print Works Bistro on their meal. It’s kind of a pricey Eastern Mediterranean restaurant, so they might want to wait until Mom and Dad are in town—or until that birthday check arrives from Grandma. Student ID must be shown prior to ordering.

Cape Fear Martial Arts, Wilmington, NC

Cape Fear Martial Arts knows the importance of staying safe on campus and beyond. Their student discount comes in the form of two weeks of free martial arts classes with no obligation to sign up for more.

Sky Zone, Greensboro, NC

Walk-ins with college ID receive a discount at Sky Zone. Spend the afternoon or evening jumping on trampolines like a kid. It’s great exercise and great fun! The discounted price is as little as $11.99, depending on how long you choose to jump.

Barnes Chiropractic, Hampstead, NC

Did you hurt your back going out for the volleyball team—or maybe attempting to catch up with that cute guy (or girl!) en route to class? If so, there’s a discount for you, too. At Barnes Chiropractic in Hampstead, students receive 25% off their visit.

North Carolina Symphony, Raleigh, NC

Enjoy an evening of exceptional music at the North Carolina Symphony. Students may purchase their tickets from between $11 and $22. They may reserve their tickets by calling the number on the website. An ID is mandatory, however, when presenting the ticket at the door.

Mint Museum Uptown, Charlotte, NC

Art exhibits and events at Mint Museum Uptown make for a perfect evening or afternoon out. Student admission is discounted, however the amount of that discount isn’t publicized. Students must ask for the discount in person and present their college ID for the discounted admission.

Hangover Grill, Raleigh, NC

Here’s a discount college students will appreciate. They need only show their college ID before ordering at the Hangover Grill, and they will receive one. The site doesn’t advertise how much of a discount they’ll get—but hey—something is far better than nothing, right?

Carolina’s Diner, Greensboro, NC

Tell your server before you order that you’re a college student and present your ID. You’ll receive 10 percent off your meal at Carolina’s Diner.

North Carolina Zoo, Asheboro, NC

Who doesn’t love a trip to the zoo? College students receive $2 of the general admission price at the North Carolina Zoo when they present their ID. This brings the cost to just $13. (Do check with the zoo before visiting, as some renovations are presently underway. You don’t want to visit on a day when some of the animals aren’t available. After all, a discount is only a discount if you’re getting the whole experience!)
