Fresh is a hidden gem in Black Mountain. The food is high quality and comes in large portions, which makes the higher price point worth it. If you are a pizza-lover, this is a great place to taste some authentic, wood-fired pizza. The service is also friendly and the overall ambience is clean and colorful. Check them out!
Do not go to a chain when you can go here! HONESTLY! We got into Black Mountain late and were hungry after a few Google searches we ended up here. We were seated quickly, we got our drinks, ordered, and the pizza and starter was out in record time. The starter was a Italian take on nachos. Yes, please. Ravioli covered with fresh ingredients then fire roasted. Heaven. Then there was pizza. Again, fresh ingredients made this but I think what did it for me was the wood fired oven.
First time here recently and I can say I was not disappointed. Trendy kind of place, I forgot to take a pic because I knew the pizza would be so very good. Service was excellent, sadly I can't remember the waitresses name. The music selection was great also. Like the other local pizza joints this one also has a unique taste of it's own and I look forward to coming back.
Pizza was great. It was our first time having Wood fired Pizza. However, this was our 1st visit and service wasn't so great. Waitress was nice, and I understand when it it busy, but we couldn't even ask for Ranch dressing, and a refill in the same trip. She was just running by, and we couldn't stop her long enough to ask for 2 things,And this happened a couple times. Also, the bread we ordered came out when we were halfway through eating our pizza, instead of the appetizer. She did apologize and took it off the bill. So, food is good, but it got busy while we there and just not so good service.
Real food. Ingredients just picked and organic. Gluten free options available. Absolutely delicious, every visit is consistent. Portions are generous. There is a good wine and beer selection. Their house salad dressing is wonderful. Be sure to ask for your pizza with "no char" as they default to a little blackening in the crust, but are happy to adjust if you ask.
