Go Play Outside Now

44 Cornwallis Street

We are a family outdoor recreation center that is based on old world values in hopes to get everyone outdoors to enjoy the nature that surrounds us. Those who have visited Go Play Outside Now have thought it to be "breath-taking" and "peaceful." With this we hope our surrounding communities reach new heights and inspire to be great.

In 2003, Ann drove by the woods that later became Go Play Outside Now, dreaming of the thought of it being a park. Flash forward almost a decade, and the same words she said then are now carved into the cement of the basketball court: "Someday kids will play here."

It took two and a half years to build the Park that everyone knows to be Go Play Outside Now, LLC. We focused on a lot of natural resources during our construction and preferred manual labor. We are also proud to say that most of our Park was built from North Carolinian lumbar and products. Everything you see and touch at the Park is known to be some of the best constructed work and possible some of the most admired.

Such a disappointment to be honest. Just checked website before going to see hours. Said open today 10-4. Daughter trying to take kids for last day of summer break. She couldn't get in the gate so called with no answer. They call her back and said it was posted on website they started fall hours already. It absolutely was not changed on the site yet and why in the world would you do that on the last day of summer vacation for kids? Makes no sense to me. Sad for my grandchildren who were so excited and promised this first trip there today. Poor choice to switch to fall hours when kids are not even back at school yet.

Bring your own packed lunch, and have fun. Great rates, and lots of fun! Laser tag year round, water slide in the summer, snow in the winter (weather pending). This is a family business with a great concept.

kids love. A great alternative to natural outdoor play that is not a traditional playground.

This place is fun for the whole family :)! They have a little bit of everything for everyone, young to old, handicapped to mobile. We had our children's party there this year and everyone said they loved it and had no idea that it was there. In the fall/winter they have a snow hill for sledding, for the hot summers a giant silo like slide with water :). There is an outdoor laser tag course, imagination play areas, slides, swings, basketball courts, etc. Bring your family and check them out, bring a picnic and have some fun )!
