The Lazy 5 Ranch is privately owned and operated by Henry Hampton with no federal or state funding. Henry Hampton has been raising exotic animals for over 35 years and is known nationwide for his handling of exotic animals. For many years Mr. Hampton allowed school groups to visit his home to gaze from the opposite side of the fence and through cracks of barn doors at the animals. Others made loops through the driveway trying to get a glimpse of Mr. Hampton's many unique species. Seeing the educational and entertaining possibilities, Mr. Hampton began putting together his plan for a park that would allow children and adults alike to fully experience his exotic animal collection.

This place is perfect for kids! We ending up spending about 5 hours here! The wagon ride was fun and educational. You get to touch and feed the animals - kids loved it!! We drove through again in our own car. The animals come right in the windows! Walking Zoo was fun too! Beware - cash only! They have a little snack bar that looked good but we ran out of cash and didn’t get to try it! Totally worth the drive.

This is a amazing place for kids and adults. If you don't like to see animals in cages you will love it. You can either ride in a beautiful horse drawn night or drive through in your own car. You can feed most of the animals out your window or off the buggy but they all roam free together in a big open area. It is a must do in this area.

Good price, didn't push us to get more, we asked . They were out of seafood and chicken at the time, but was happy with what we got. 20 ribeyes for $29.99 small but still very good deal in my opinion. No complaints yet. Hope steaks ate good. The future will tell

This is an family excellent place to visit. There is fun for the whole family. However, they don't take debit or credit cards, so you need you take cash. Once you are done in the drive through with the animals, get ready for a eye popping walk around. With everything to see from lemurs to kangaroos! Don't forget the gift shop on the way out.

I haven't been in years but it never gets old. All the animals are beautiful and very well cared for. We enjoy the picnic area and the wagon ride is a must, than you can ride through in your car as many times as you want. Load up the kids, pack a lunch and enjoy a day!
