Dance theatre of Jacksonville offers quality training by a wonderful staff of college and/or professionally trained teachers. Each instructor teaches in her own area of expertise. Emphasis is placed on proper technique and
professionalism as well as developing an appreciation for dance as a performing art. We also strive to maintain a positive, enjoyable atmosphere. Great care and individual attention is given in nurturing the abilities of our students to their fullest potential. DANCE THEATRE'S facility has three large classrooms with floating wood floors and a fully equipped, air conditioned gym. Our convenient location along with our diverse curriculum makes us a studio the whole family can enjoy.
Throughout the year our students are offered many ways to enjoy dancing. Dance competitions are a good way for our students to see how they are doing and to be exposed to some wonderfully talented people, thus we take several groups to competitions each year. During the Christmas season our small folks entertain at local nursing homes and at the Jacksonville Mall. Every other month we invite all the parents to come in and view our classes to see how the students are progressing. In the spring our dance and gymnastic students will perform in our annual recital.
