About Us:
The decision to start DJ's Berry Patch was an easy one. Darin the farmer and Jessica his wife both hail from a heritage in agriculture and were already enjoying great success with a huge family garden.
One evening, after another demanding day in today's fast-paced world, Darin and Jessica found themselves longing for the nostalgia of celebrated family memories and the return to a simpler time. It was in that moment that the farmer and his wife decided to embrace their roots and put their hand to the plow.
Growing fresh berries and produce to share with others just felt right. Their enthusiasm grew even more when they realized they had a very unique opportunity. Starting a family farming business in nearby Apex would allow Darin and Jessica to recreate the joyful times they remembered on their grandparents' farms with their own four children.
These experiences along with their hopes and dreams have led to today's farming endeavor. Darin and Jessica now know they are happiest when they can share their talents with visitors like you and offer the best in farm fresh local foods.
