Mountain Stream RV Park

6954 Buck Creek Road

The Park is at about 1800' elevation in the Pisgah National Forest, nestled in a narrow valley surrounded by mountains on all sides. Beautiful Buck Creek flows through this valley and along two sides of the campground. The Blue Ridge Parkway is only about 3 miles away, but it's 5 miles by road.

We are surrounded by gorgeous mountain scenery. You can take in many of the interesting attractions that are only a short drive away or you can just relax by the stream and listen to the cold clear water flowing over the rocky stream bed. And speaking of the stream, there's trout in that thar' water.

Absolutely amazing! Sadly only got to spend one night there, but WOW, what a beautiful place! Peaceful, great surroundings and a tremendous staff. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Will be back.

Excellent campground. And I mean it. Very friendly folks own it, run it, and clientele is also friendly and helpful. Great place to unplug if you want, and relax all you want.

This is one of the nicest rv parks we have been to. The park is clean, well maintained and beautiful. Having a stream running right behind you site is awesome. This park is located very close to the blue ridge parkway and you have quick access to Ashville, chimney rock and a host of other places. The owners were there on sight and always helpful. They have a barbecue dinner every Saturday for all campers (get there early!) The road up to the campground is very winding and twisting road but don't let that deter you. I made in and out with a 42 ft 5th wheel just fine.

Fantastic, well maintained, campground in the mountains. Picturesque creek surrounds the campground. Great place for kids and dogs. New owners have made many upgrades including real WIFI...

Very nice park, the only thing was the bath house is in need of upgrade. There is no handicap accessible. Also the erosion barriers on the creek is very dangerous. If a child gets their foot hung up in the wire I could see them falling in and potentially drowning or seriously getting hurt
