History:

Built in 1969, Pine Knolls Golf Club was the host of the 2001 National Golf Association Triad Classic, and has also hosted the Forsyth County Amateur in previous years.

Pine Knolls Golf Club was purchased in 2006 by Graham Ruttle and Pearse Mahon, brothers-in-law from Ireland. Graham was a motorcycle business owner and retired professional motorcycle racer back in Ireland. He and his wife now reside in North Carolina.

Pine Knolls Golf Club offers 18 holes of challenging golf for all skill levels. The small and complex greens are the character of the course and can be tough on even the best short games.

Pine Knolls Golf Club is also the home of one of the largest and most active Men's and Ladies Golf Associations located in the Carolinas. The golf associations welcome amateur golfers of all skill levels that are at least 18 years of age. If you enjoy playing the game of golf, along with the fellowship with other golfers, this is the place to be.

After your round of golf, you can kick back at Jack's Sons Bar & Grill and enjoy a cold beverage with your friends while you total up your scorecard, and to curb that appetite, you can grab a delicious bite to eat from the grill.
