About Us:

We bought a farm! And now we are enjoying the space and adventures that are part of the package. The farm came with blackberries and grapes - both well established and a bit out of control. One day we hope to add some fruit trees, because well, YUM! As for animals, we decided to start small and simple with 2 dogs (a treeing walker coonhoud that weighs in at about 55 lbs and an english pointer that weighs in at about 45 lbs) and some chickens. One day we would like to have cattle, horses, and possibly hogs. But those are not in the short term plan, we would like to make sure we can handle what we have before adding BIG livestock.

Since we LOVE everything fall and Halloween we plan to start a pumpkin patch next year! We are gathering tons of ideas and starting to SLOWLY put things together to have lots of fun activities come next season.

Outside of the farm, Jon and I (Jill) both have full time jobs at UNC-CH in research. We have 3 kids that help keep life interesting. We love new adventures that arise in any form and do our best to live the adventures to the fullest extent possible. Most people think we are completely nuts, and they are probably right. But we like it that way.
