Cary Downtown Farmers Market in partnership with the Town of Cary
Come celebrate the Fall Harvest with the Cary Downtown Farmers Market – Cary’s original, one and only – local Farmers Market, located at the historic Ivey-Ellington House onWest Chatham Street.
The festival will take place in an expanded footprint emanating from the Ivey-Ellington House and spreading between Academy and Harrison Avenue with craft vendors lining both sides of the street. Festival -goers will enjoy shopping local goods and crafts and will have the opportunity to learn more about sustainable practices, reducing waste, recycling, and composting.
A Main Stage will feature two area bands filling the streets with live music, kids performances, as well as the Once in a Blue Moon Pumpkin Pie Eating Contest at Noon. Sample foods, or enjoy lunch options from a variety of food trucks – and don’t miss the Beer Garden on the lawn of the Ivey-Ellington. And we hear that Santa will pay Cary a visit while on his vacation! Look for him in the Kids Zone near Fidelity Plaza.
